The Focusing Effect is a faux-documentary/horror film about three film students who make a doc about breakups, only to push one of their subjects too far.
Dave Stimple, an unfocused mattress store owner, is having issues connecting with everyone around him. He arrives at the shop one morning to find the local health and safety people have shut him down. Bugs, huge bed bugs and lots of complaints are cited as the reason. Dave is really confused and his relationships with his wife, friends, and his own humanity seem to be devolving and increasingly distracting anomalies begin to take over his reality. But his issues may not be as internal as they seem.

30岁的屌丝(🛂)(sī )青年李星辰(🕍)(chén )遭遇感情(qíng )伤害后整日花(huā )天酒地，靠着自(⏲)己口(kǒu )才和坑(😋)蒙拐(guǎi )骗开了(😻)一(yī )间星座的(⛳)咨(zī )询室，生(shē(🐁)ng )意一般，但自(zì )由自在无(wú )拘无束的生(shēng )活着(⏪)。
牧江(jiāng )村郊野(🚋)山(shān )藏有一怪(🔩)，赤面獠牙(yá )，名(⬅)曰垃圾人(rén )，他身世神(shén )秘，以垃(lā )圾为食，日(rì(👳) )遇村妇马(mǎ )秀(💃)娟，将其掳掠。马(😙)(mǎ )秀娟通过与(㊗)垃(lā )圾人的交(⌚)往(wǎng )，发现他(tā )虽丑陋骇人(rén )，却心地(dì )单纯。但(♒)天不(bú )遂人愿(🚻)，“单纯”的(de )垃圾人(🏅)却将(jiāng )马秀娟(✒)视(shì )为配偶，囚(🍲)(qiú )于废弃厂(chǎng )房。矿山老板(bǎn )徐东南徐(xú )西北(🌼)两兄弟(dì )欲借(🔍)炸山除(chú )垃圾(💈)人之(zhī )名在野(🔡)山非(fēi )法拓矿，全然不顾马秀(xiù )娟安危。而(ér )垃(🔚)圾人通(tōng )过马(🏄)秀娟逐(zhú )渐了(🛑)解人(rén )类的尊(😹)重与爱，遂将(jiā(♊)ng )其放归牧江村(cūn )。马秀娟得(dé )知徐东南(nán )阴谋(🈴)后为救(jiù )垃圾(🔒)人与(yǔ )之抗争(🛒)，最终(zhōng )被绑于(🍣)山上，垃圾人(ré(♈)n )为救马秀娟(juān )与徐东南(nán )死命相搏，后被徐东(🤡)(dōng )南炸死。环保(♋)(bǎo )组织声明(mí(🤷)ng )垃圾人出现(xià(🍆)n )乃牧江村的(de )环保意识(shí )薄弱之恶果(guǒ )，垃圾人(🥖)(rén )本无罪，罪在(🦑)(zài )人心对环境(🍖)(jìng )的态度，并呼(✊)吁民众(zhòng )善待(📸)环境(jìng )。
雷切尔和男朋友分(fèn )手了回到家中(zhō(🙌)ng )发现室友把(bǎ(📋) )她的床卖(mài )了(🗂)，于是她(tā )们俩(⏳)只能(néng )睡在一(❄)张床上(shàng )，在某个不可描述的(de )夜晚个夜晚(wǎn )，她(🎍)两之(zhī )间发生(🛑)了一(yī )些事情(👛)，蕾切尔动了真(🥀)(zhēn )情，而室(shì )友却觉得她(tā )太黏人，两(liǎng )个人的(🚓)友(yǒu )谊因同床(🍯)共(gòng )枕，而发(fā(😫) )生了微妙的变(🌂)(biàn )化。@橘里橘(jú(🌞) )气译制组(zǔ )
