Konstantin, a songwriter and master guitarist, runs away from numerous problems to the nature reserve Mikhailovskoye. Kostantin has long lost any way of income and has almost given up hope to be heard, living by sheer inertia and often drawing on alcohol.
Three families from three different level of society are involved in an accident. Immorality and betrayal which are in some families will take the natural right of the children- All in the dark are the same, human do not make the same decision in the specific situation and in the end no one is guilty. Summer 1989, East Germany. Adam works as a tailor, Evelyn as a waitress.
